Bust of King David with harp above quartered arms of Burgundy and Utrecht; Reverse: Floriated cross. A stunning design, certainly worthy of close inspection and a premium bid. Scarcely seen at auction, this is a real opportunity to acquire a piece of medieval history. Small edge crack at 3 o'clock, overall quite well struck and pleasing to the eye.
