- Lot 333 1811 S-287 R2. PCGS graded AU-58.Lustrous medium steel and light olive brown. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has outstanding eye appeal. Looks mint state but there is a hint of rub on the very highest points of the devices. The only marks are a very light hairline scratch from the base of the first 1 into the field under the bust tip and an area of slightly darker toning just right of the D in UNITED. M-LDS, Breen state V, with narrow rim breaks at stars 2 & 4. Called AU55 net AU50 and tied for CC#16 in the Noyes census, his photo #39239. Not seen by Bland. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Nancy and Bryan Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
