- The second highest graded example for the date, there is a single finer MS68 at PCGS. A luxuriant golden patina drapes the obverse, accenting the details and is brought out by a vivid luster. A touch of peripheral toning on the reverse suggests storage at the end of a roll. PCGS 20, NGC 6, CAC 8. This is only 67+ at PCGS, and there is only a 68 finer. This remarkable SUPERB GEM sold for $1,469 in our May Regency Auction 26 sale. The current Collector's Universe value is listed at $1,500. What a great coin for any collector! Cert.
