This deeply toned and totally original Proof 1860 trime is a great looking type coin for the collector. The mirrored fields are awash in rich iridescent toning in shades of teal, gold, pink, peach, blue, and violet. Flashy and reflective, the eye appeal is exceptional. PCGS 42, NGC 28, CAC 10. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $2,400 in April 2019; prior to that, the last PCGS/CAC coin sold for $1,410 in July 2013. The current PCGS value is $1,550.
