A truly fabulous SUPERB Proof 1950 Proof Franklin half. This first year that Proof Franklins were struck, the devices and fields were polished to a fully brilliant reflection, and Cameo examples are VERY challenging to locate. This example is borderline CAMEO with a brilliantly flashy and beaming mirrored fields and moderate frosting on the devices. The eye appeal is amazing. PCGS 219, NGC 455, CAC 118. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,200 and the CAC CPG value is $3,810, but neither price guides take into account the near Cameo contrast this SUPERB GEM possesses.
