1773 Virginia Halfpenny. Period After GEORGIVS. W-1670, Newman 20-X. URS-10. 8 Harp Strings. MS-61 BN (PCGS). Dominant gray-brown patina to both sides, the surfaces do reveal faded crimson-red luster here and there, especially on the reverse. Boldly struck in most areas, we see only a few trivial toning spots on the obverse, and no detracting abrasions.
