Conditionally RARE, this GEM is the second FINEST graded at PCGS, clearly a condition census piece. Boasting vivid mint brilliance that possesses a satiny/frosty glow that accents a sharp strike. The obverse has a pale, iridescent toning, while the reverse has a marble-like pattern of icy-silver blue, coppery amber-gold, and rich slate-pewter. The eye appeal is very high end and totally original. PCGS 11, NGC 9, CAC 3. This is the ONLY MS65+ and just 3 graded finer. There are NO CAC approved MS66s so if you demand CAC approval, this is the FINEST graded. We sold a PCGS MS65 CAC (no +) for $2,703 in our May 2018 Regency Auction and a PCGS MS66 sold for $5,875 in February 2017. The current PCGS value in 65+ is $4,000.
