A fully reflective and flashy lustrous 77-CC Trade dollar with four chops on the obverse and two or three on the reverse. Traces of contact from travel to China from the United States, a glass reveals some minor marks and ticks on both sides. The eye appeal is bold and this is such a cool piece of international trade history. PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 1. This is the only CAC example to come up for auction. Two non-CAC coins with fewer chop marks have sold in auction, one in March 2019 for $1,680 and the other three years earlier for $3,055. The CAC approved MS62 sold in March 2013 for $4,406. Cert.
