We've seen many examples of this date that are horribly hacked up. This coin is way above average-even though, for whatever reason CAC did not bean it. Outstanding satiny surfaces are as smooth as a baby’s behind and are that clean; even using a strong glass, we could not find ANY ticks or even decent size frost breaks anywhere. We will note there is a tiny tick hidden in the Eagle on the reverse. A full luster beams boldly from all over and both sides are bathed in a mix of pale orange/pale pink/yellow gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and are pinpoint sharp in strike and stand out boldly. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 4, NGC 3. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher. The last PCGS MS66 coin to sell in auction brought $44,650 in January 2017. The current Collector’s Universe value is $55,000. We cannot say we have seen many of these ever offered. This coin is perfectly acceptable for any GEM $10 Indian set. Cert. Number 31659648 PCGS # 8863
