1960 Lincoln Cent. Small Date. Proof-68 RD Deep Cameo (PCGS). Tied with a select group as the finest seen of this issue and a coin of solid integrity and outstanding character--after all it has the features a specialist hopes to find but seldom does. First off, this is the scarce Small Date variety in Proof, the grade is as fine as any seen by PCGS. In terms of color the surfaces are full mint Red and furthermore display the greatest degree of contrast, Deep Cameo--between the mirror fields and frosted devices.
