A frosty, near-GEM Mint State B-2. Wonderfully preserved and boasting a bold, lustrous glow. Pearlescent silver surfaces gleam with accents of clear gold patina. Generally well struck, there is some minor weakness at the eagle's talon. Some minor ticks and a small scuff are what accounts for the assigned grade, but the eye appeal is quite pleasing. PCGS 2, NGC 0. This coin does not appear to have come from auction, nor has the other example in a 64+ holder ever sold. We just sold a PCGS MS64 CAC example of this die marriage in our Regency 53 for $7,931. The current PCGS Price Guide value for a 64+ is $11,000. With MS65s listed at $25,000 we think this grade presents a great opportunity for the collector. Good luck. Cert. Number 25265753 PCGS # 5356
