THE CORINTH COLLECTION A gorgeous GEM 1886 nickel. Housed in a first generation PCGS holder, this coin was graded before PCGS was assigning CAM and DCAM designations. In our opinion this coin is a LOCK CAMEO, and while CAC did not award a gold sticker, we feel this coin is conservatively graded. Glorious mirrors beam boldly on both sides; the fields are smooth, icy sleek, and the epitome of perfection. There is a thick, creamy white frost on Liberty's portrait that stands out in stark contrast to the surrounding fields. There is a touch of beautiful iridescent toning on the reverse and the eye appeal is SUPERB! PCGS 305, NGC 273, CAC 54. Ignore the comps and price guide values, this coin will blow past all of them!
