FROM THE SAND HILL COLLECTION. Here is a very pleasing example of this conditionally RARE date. Excellent surfaces offer a few light and scattered frost breaks/ticks. To the naked eye the surfaces appear smooth. A good luster does beam from all over. Both sides are a deeper totally original gold color. There are no spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is wonderful! PCGS 20, NGC 12, CAC 5. This is the coin that sold in our September 2018 Premier Session auction for $2,090 and was the last coin this collector added to this collection.
