详细说明: THE GEORGE SCHWENK COLLECTION A borderline GEM example of this conditionally rare date. The 19-S had a sizable mintage of over 7.5 million but it seems like the entire mintage disappeared into circulation. In CHOICE Mint State this date is quite scarce, in GEM, it is RARE. This example, like the 19-D above comes from a very advanced die state with lots of clashes, die crumbling, die rust, and flowlines. The luster is glowing and glossy, highlighting a soft, pastel iridescent tone in shades of pale pink, lemon-yellow, champagne-gold, and pastel clover. The details were bluntly struck up, a result of the heavily abused dies. The eye appeal is really neat for sure, and the advanced die state gives this MS64+ a lot of charm. PCGS 229, NGC 121, CAC 18. There are 15 in MS64+. The most recent example to sell in auction brought $4,920 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $6,000.
