- (ca. 1861) New England Elephant Token Struck Copy by Alfred S. Robinson. W-15220. Copper-nickel. MS-66 (PCGS). 27.5 mm. 131.0 grains. Coin turn. Bright and flashy, with extreme reflectivity on both sides. The obverse is a pleasing golden nickel shade, even and attractive, while the reverse shows blushes of lovely violet toning.
