- Amazing 1830 Octavo PHILIPPINES. Octavo, 1830-M F. Ferdinand VII (1808-33). PCGS MS-62 BN Gold Shield. KM-8; Basso-24; Cal-Type 441 #1616. EXTREMELY RAREdate in this state of preservation. Sharp central details with hard glossy chocolate surfaces displaying a lovely blue sheen that pops out when tilted in the light. Virtually complete legends with minimal weakness. Only slight planchet roughness which is far less than normally seen on these issues. Truly a magnificent representative of the date let alone the type.
