- NETHERLANDS. Utrecht. Lion Daalder, 1646. Utrecht Mint. NGC MS-62+. Dav-4863; KM-30; Delm-844. Variety with a crowned lion in the obverse shield. A well detailed example of this typically crudely struck type, with frosty field luster, good centering, and traces of light peripheral toning. A bit of porosity appears in the reverse fields, from inconsistencies in the original planchet. Estimate: $600 - $900.
