FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION What a SPECTACULAR SUPERB GEM! Among the top half dozen examples of this low mintage rarity graded by PCGS. Truly one of the highlights of this exceptional collection! Take it from us, we know this series quite well. Boldly lustrous surfaces beam with a vibrant frosty luster that has traces of prooflike flash when rotated in a light. A dusting of toning at the lower obverse rim shows off hues of blue and orange. Sharply struck from unclashed dies, there are a few minor die lines. We love this GEM. The eye appeal of this jewel is off the charts. PCGS 2, NGC 3, CAC 3. This is the ONLY MS66+ graded at either service. This coin sold in August 2013 for $16,450 as an NGC MS66 CAC, and recently crossed over to PCGS where it was recognized for its high end quality with the "+". The current PCGS Price Guide value is $20,000, and a PCGS/ CAC MS66 (no +) coin sold in the 2017 ANA auction, for $15,863. Just five are graded higher. and we sold a PCGS MS67+ for $28,200.
