- MEXICO. 1/2 Escudo, 1834/3-DoRM. Durango Mint. PCGS MS-63+ Secure Holder. Fr-111; KM-378.1. Superbly detailed and delicately toned at the edges with a few small grade-capping marks in the fields that surround the hand and book motif. Magnified inspection of the date does show evidence of an underdigit, but it appears far more likely a 1834/1 (or perhaps 1834/3/1) than the attributed 1834/3.
