- 1806 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-115, T-17. Rarity-1. Pointed 6, Stem Through Claw. AU-58 (PCGS). This variety shares an obverse with O-114, O-116, and O-117, although the die appears to have been lapped to remove some of the prominent recutting on the TY that is evident on the former variety. A touch of wear is visible on the highest parts of the wing, ribbon, hair, and drapery. The surfaces are generally smooth, although a small mark is visible at the juncture of Liberty's cheek and neck. At least two Mint State examples of this variety are known, but at AU-58, this coin might qualify for the low end of the Condition Census. PCGS# 6071. NGC ID: 24EJ.
