- THE GEORGE SCHWENK COLLECTION What a great looking GEM! Gleaming with a delicate pastel rainbow iridescence. Sharply struck for the date, with fully defined details on both sides. We note a few microscopic fly specks under magnification. The luster is brilliant and glows boldly on both sides bringing out the details and colors imparting a superb look. PCGS 123, NGC 29, CAC 37. The most recent CAC-approved example to sell in auction was graded by NGC and sold for $7,800 in April 2022; more recently a non-CAC PCGS-graded example sold for $5,520 in May 2022. This lovely coin will sell for a strong bid when it crosses the block. RARE finer; none have ever graded higher than MS66 at either service. Bound for a great set. Cert. Number 38699651 PCGS # 3952
