Here is another high-end GEM large cent that is, of course, ex Naftzger Collection. Brilliant, original red luster blazes on both sides with tinges of bluish and violet hues. Sharply struck and boasting a beautiful eye appeal! Worthy of the finest collections! PCGS 15, NGC 19, CAC 6. This must have been a Naftzger duplicate, as it does not match the one sold in lot 1069 of the Naftzger sale, which realized $3,910 in 2009.
