Though rated R.1, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen a choice AU example of this Red Bookvariety.  The Eliasberg coin, also PCGS AU 58 with a CAC sticker, sold a year ago for over $3,900.  Nothing since.  This piece is beautifully struck.  The brilliant, untoned surfaces are awash in luster and devoid of marks.  A bit of antique toning flutters through ES OF AM on the reverse.  Nice!  Est. $2,500 to $3,500.
