SPECTACULAR RARITY! Resplendent fields surround needle sharp devices. Original and fresh with terrific eye appeal. Lovely orange peel toning accents textured fields. A pronounced die crack is seen from the rim by the U in UNITED indicating that th is was probably one of the final pieces coined. A small strike through is noted with a strong loupe under the R of DOLLAR. Distributed to VIPs and well-connected collectors of the day, it is believed most of the original mintage survives to this day. Only an estimated 100 pieces were coined. PCGS 8, NGC 2, CAC 2. This coin was last sold by us in April 2023 for $9,988. PCGS Price Guide value is $11,500. This coin has it all, rarity, eye appeal and the "wow" factor that makes inclusion in a box of 20, a must!
