FROM THE BEAR CREEK COLLECTION Ex Sterling Collection, as noted on the holder. A conditionally RARE date , with just 16 coins graded MS63 or finer at PCGS. An iridescent, silver white tone is gently dusted over semi-reflective surfaces on both sides. Traces of clear gold cling to the peripheral devices accenting a strong strike. Some very light lines and a few minor contact marks account for the assigned grade, but they do not singularly detract from the decent eye appeal of this scarce date. PCGS 5, NGC 4. Since 2002, just three PCGS coins have sold in auction, the most recent for $6,000 in the 2018 ANA and before that one sold for $12,600. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $7,750.
