- Satiny lustrous and boasting a lively brilliance that shines through the pale pewter-dove-silver tone that caresses the surfaces of both sides. Ms. Liberty and the eagle are fully struck up, the reverse die beginning to shatter, with die cracks coming in from the rim at 3:30 through the right wing and from the rim at 6:30, passing between AL and piercing the eagle's left talon, through the body, and ending in the field in front of the beak. Close inspection does reveal some minor scuffs on the reverse above the eagle's head, but nothing that is out of the ordinary for the MS62 grade, and the eye appeal is very strong for the grade. PCGS 15, NGC 9, CAC 2. Since 2011, only three MS62s have sold in auction, including the Dick Osburn Collection coin, which is the other CAC-approved coin that sold for $2,875 in the 2011 ANA auction. More recently a non-CAC NGC coin sold for $2,056 in April 2015. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $2,400 and the price nearly doubles in MS63. A great coin for any Seated Liberty collector. Cert. Number 33491102 PCGS # 6237
