- 1885 Seated Liberty Quarter. Proof-66 Cameo (NGC). Silky-smooth surfaces are free of detracting or otherwise grade-limiting blemishes. Both sides present as untoned, but closer inspection does reveal faint iridescent highlights here and there at the borders. Fully struck and nicely contrasted, this impressive Gem comes down to us from a limited mintage of just 14,530 proof and business strike Quarters bearing the 1885 date.
