Smooth, minimally troubled fields frame sharply impressed design elements, asserting strong technical quality to match superior eye appeal. A thoroughly exceptional representative of this conditionally challenging type. While 915,000 examples of the 1911 Indian half eagle were struck for commercial use, the vast majority of survivors are confined to lower Mint State grades by copious bag marks from transportation and storage.
