FROM THE DAVID POOLE COLLECTION OF THREE CENT NICKELS. Among the absolute finest examples of this date that survive from the original mintage of 625 pieces. Another SUPERB coin that displays deep, beaming mirrors that have a bold contrast against the highly frosted and well struck devices. A delicate iridescent toning does attest to this coin's originality and high end good looks! Only 625 were ever struck. PCGS 5, NGC 3. Only a pair of PR66+ DCAM are graded finer in the designation. The most recent DCAM that sold in auction realized $2,820 in the 2015 FUN auction and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,800. Seems cheap to us!
