1798 Capped Bust Dime. JR-4. Rarity-3. Large 8. Fine-15 (NGC). Pleasing silver-gray with rose traces on the devices of both sides. Average surfaces show the expected circulation evidence, but no deep or detracting marks. Draped Bust dimes are quite difficult to find in high grade as so few survived from modest mintages, and wholesome examples like the present offering are always eagerly sought-after by collectors when they appear.
