- 1820 Matron Head Cent. N-15. Rarity-2. Small Date. MS-61 BN (PCGS). Richly toned in dark chocolate brown color with lighter hazelnut accents across the obverse. The complexion is overall glossy and smooth, complemented by substantial traces of satiny luster in the protected areas. Slightly drawn to 11 o'clock on the obverse, leaving the denticles trimmed on that side. The devices are sharply rendered at center and are accompanied by moderate traces of die rust equivalent to Noyes Die State B/B. Impressively unblemished for the assigned grade.
