详细说明: A very important KEY to the series, especially in Mint State. This CAC approved MS62 would have, in the days before 3rd party grading, would have been called CHOICE Brilliant Uncirculated and this coin really is PQ for the grade with definite claims to a higher grade. RARE so fine and prohibitively so any finer. The overdate feature is bold and readily evident to the naked eye. For the variety, the strike is bold on both sides with sharp overall definition. The surface quality is very high end for the assigned grade. The peripheries are toned with gold, framing the shimmering silvery-blue hued centers, and were it not for a few tiny flecks we would not flinch if it was housed in an even higher grade holder. For the specialist collector this is an amazing opportunity to acquire a very high end and high grade survivor of this rarity. PCGS 13, NGC 14, CAC 6. The most recent example to sell realized $45,600 in the 2018 FUN auction; prior to that, one sold for $47,000 in November 2016. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $47,500 and the CAC CPG is $48,000. RARE finer, there are 38 graded between MS62+ and MS66, most clustered in the MS64 grade, and we suspect there are many resubmissions in hopes of a higher grade.
