- CHINA. Dollar, Year 10 (1921). PCGS AU-58. L&M-79; K-668; KM-Y-329.6. Variety with connected "zao" and five "lollipops". Highly lustrous with minimal tone over the surfaces. An interesting an seldom-seen variety, this example displays five dots, or "lollipops", hidden in the dentilation beneath the bow on the reverse. While the meaning is presently unknown, similar dots appear on other dates, ensuring that they were placed there for a reason. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.
