- 1904 Liberty Head Double Eagle. MS-64 PL (NGC). The 1904 double eagle is a plentiful issue with a substantial population of Prooflike coins, although we caution bidders that certified PL examples are scarce from a market availability standpoint. This lovely near-Gem displays a sharp strike and nicely mirrored fields. The vivid golden-orange surfaces show no major abrasions. PCGS# 89045. NGC ID: 26CY.
