- A blindingly brilliant GEM 23-D double eagle. Intensely lustrous surfaces gleam boldly across the surfaces. The design elements are all crisply impressed and sharply rendered by an exacting blow from the dies. The surfaces show just a couple of tiny ticks, nothing too serious and nothing that would prevent this Gem "+" grade. We like the brilliant luster quite a bit and you will too! PCGS 130, NGC 45. The most recent examples sold for $2,880, back in December 2020. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,500. A great GEM to just "put away".
