- Top-Pop 1950-S Quarter with Vivid Toning 1950-S Washington Quarter. MS-68 (PCGS). CAC. The most vivid colors are reserved for the reverse of this beautifully toned Superb Gem, for which side we note shades of antique gold, sea-green, salmon-pink and champagne-apricot. The obverse is more reserved, yet still highly appealing in silver-blue and golden-apricot iridescence. Frosty surfaces are sharply struck and border on pristine. This beautiful coin will be just right for another top ranked Washington quarter Registry Set or more generalized collection of toned silver.
