详细说明: THE XANNO COLLECTION Only 309,000 cents were struck at the San Francisco mint in 1909, the final year of this long running series. The low mintage, combined with last year of series status, makes the 09-S Indian Head cent a KEY date in the series. Mint State examples are scarce and always in demand, Gem quality examples as here are especially so. RARE so fine. A rolling red luster glows boldly all over on this GEM. Soft gold and iridescent toning and a few microscopic flecks attest to the originality of this impressively preserved beauty. Nicely struck, save for some hints of weakness at the feather tips. There are no marks or lines worthy of mention and the eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 31, NGC 10. The most recent example sold for $10,200 in May 2022; prior to that an example brought $14,400 in the 2021 ANA auction. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $15,000.
