1936 Buffalo Nickel. Type II--Brilliant. Proof-64 (NGC). CAC. Sharply struck with satiny motifs and blazing mirror fields. Toned in&nbsp;pleasing gold, blue, and violet pastels. From a Proof mintage of just 4,420 proofs (about equally divided between <em>satin</em> and <em>brilliant</em> formats). Brilliant proof Buffalo Nickels were coined only in the years 1936 and 1937.
