From the Premier Barber Collection. WOW! This is truly a SPECTACULAR GEM survivor. As a date, the 93-S is uncommon in all grades, but especially so in lofty Mint State grades. Not only is this coin high end in terms of technical quality, it is STUNNING in terms of eye appeal! A bold cartwheel luster rolls smoothly along the superb surfaces. The obverse is boldly toned in beautiful blueberry and tangerine shades, the patina really sparkling in the light. The reverse is mostly untoned with a touch of gold at the rim that really accents the flashy, semi-prooflike luster. Both sides have full, dynamic strikes with complete, crisp definition. PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 1. Realizing $9,200 back in the 2010 FUN auction, this coin is heads above the other 66s that are out there. We marvel at this coin's amazing eye appeal, and we think you will too!
