- Choice Uncirculated Sou Marque from the Lille Mint 1744/3-W Sou Marque. Lille Mint. Vlack-205b. Rarity-5. MS-63 (PCGS). 36.5 grains. This lovely example sports a sharp, clear overdate, bold W mintmark, and virtually full silvering to both sides. Warmly and attractively toned in golden-gray, as well, with no detracting blemishes to frosty mint luster. Isolated softness at the lower left obverse and upper left reverse borders is mentioned solely for accuracy, as it does not detract from the superior quality and eye appeal of this Choice Mint State sou marque.
