- 1901 Liberty Head Nickel. Proof-67+ (PCGS). CAC. This lovely Superb Gem exhibits a dusting of iridescent golden-gray toning to semi-reflective surfaces. Both sides are fully struck, as befits the method of manufacture, with direct lighting calling forth pretty undertones of champagne-apricot and pale pink.
