- PHILIPPINES. Quarto, 1805-M F. Charles IV (1788-1808). PCGS EF-40 Gold Shield. KM-6; Basso-15a; Cal-Type 177#1474. Lion with long thin neck, tougue does not touch mouth and end of tail points towards beads. Well struck and far superior to most example encountered. An excellent example with virtually complete legends, bold full four digit date, bold lion and complete shield. Sure to excite even the most advanced of collectors. Estimate: $200 - $300.
