- GERMANY. Empire. North Baltic Canal Silver Medal, 1895. PCGS SPECIMEN-64 Gold Shield. 50.5mm. Wurzbach-6862; Marien-7014. Struck to commemorate the completion of the North Baltic Canal. The large size version of this medal, with conjoined busts of the three Prussian Kaisers involved in the project within a heavy laurel wreath; Reverse: View of a merchant vessel passing out of the canal and into the sea with the rising sun ahead.
