C-8. The spiked chin variety of this Draped Bust Half Cent. Smooth and appealing chocolate brown surfaces with great eye appeal for this grade. The “spiked chin” was a result of striking with a die damaging during the minting process. An interesting variety that is popular with collectors. PCGS 47, NGC 20. PCGS price guide lists value as $925. Last appeared at auction in January 2018 when it realized $840. A neat coin for the Half Cent collector. Cert. Number 35223726 PCGS # 1075
