Victoria's First Proof Crown GREAT BRITAIN. Crown, 1839. London Mint. Victoria. PCGS PROOF-61 Gold Shield. S-3882; KM-741. A fairly RARE offering as a proof, this incredibly lustrous and mirrored example offers a deep cabinet tone with a shimmering iridescence. To be noted, however, are some strong hairlines are scratches in the fields, mostly focused before Victoria's chin and running from the back of her neck to the rim. Estimate: $10,000 - $15,000.
