- MAGNIFICO! What a stunning example of the final Proof Seated quarter issue. If all Proof type looked like this, they would not be so "cheap" in the market today! Blazing, deep, beaming mirrored fields are blinding in their reflection, especially in the areas that did not tone. The areas the did tone are vibrant with intense blue and orange-gold tone that frames the central devices quite nicely. The reliefs are thickly frosted and sharply struck, standing out boldly against the depths of the surrounding mirrors! WOW the eye appeal is amazing! Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 17, NGC 22. Go ahead and ignore the APRs and Price Guide values. First the market is discounted because of the cheap prices unattractive coins have brought. This coin deserves a strong bid from the collector!
