- Frosty light to medium steel brown with a half dozen tiny splashes of dark olive planchet slag on the right half of the obverse and a thin planchet fissure above the head, as struck. No contact marks or other defects. Sharply double struck</B> with an offset between impressions of no more than 1 millimeter and the second impression slightly off center. The doubling is obvious on both sides, and the double struck feature of this piece is noted on the PCGS label. A rare type to begin with, but especially rare as a mint error. <BR>Estimated Value $750 - 1,500.
