详细说明: FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION Booming reflectivity and strong contrast between the watery mirror fields and the frosted devices. Only 975 were struck, and this is one of the finest surviving pieces. Both of the 8s in the date show repunching and both the fields and devices are super clean and attractive. The obverse is essentially white save for deep blue and russet around the rims and reaching into the stars. Impressive quality like this is always worth a strong bid. Only 975 Proofs were struck. PCGS 24, NGC 9, CAC 12. Only three examples have graded PR66+ CAM at PCGS. The auction records are: $2,880 in January 2018; $3,290 in October 2014; and $5,175 in May 2012. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $3,750. PCGS has graded just 10 Cameos finer, 9 in 67 and a single 68+.
