- Michigan--Detroit. 1863 George Snooks Fish Depot. Fuld-225BW-2b/a. Rarity-10. Bimetallic, Brass/Copper. Reeded Edge. MS-64 (PCGS). 19 mm. A most unusual example, with an obviously brass obverse paired with a reverse that is undeniably copper. Bright brassy-olive color on the former side, the reverse retains plenty of faded rose-red color amidst moderate mellowing to olive-brown. Rare and intriguing.
