- GREAT BRITAIN. Naval Victory of Admiral Earl Howe Bronze Medal, 1794. George III (1760-1820). PCGS SP-63 Secure Holder. 48 mm. BHM-383; Eimer-855. By C. H. Kuchler. Uniformed half length bust of Admiral Howe right; Reverse: British warship sinking its French adversary. Struck to commemorate the victory of the British fleet over the French during "The Glorius First of June" engagement. No detracting contact marks or fresh metal showing in the fields or rims. Toned a deep dark chocolate brown with a few even more deeply toned spots in obverse field and reverse exergue. Estimate: $350 - $500. Provenance: From the William Painter Collection. PCGS #616243.
